Educator, Author, and Humanitarian

“Everything you ever
wanted is on the other side of fear”

My Story
Michelle Bonneau founded Her International, a Canadian Charity working in the Okanagan Valley and Nepal. Passionate about the power of women's education on changing lives, Michelle at the age of 58 sold all she had, packed a suitcase and left for Nepal with the conviction that her God would open the necessary doors to bring self-reliance to women.
From slavery to graced freedom underlines both her personal journey and that of Tharu women. Michelle’s dedication has earned her the title of Humanitarian of 2014 from La Presse, Quebec’s main newspaper and Canada’s 2018 Meritorious Service Medal.
